At 1Call Restore, accountability isn’t just a buzzword – it’s a promise embedded in our company’s fiber and in our actions.
There were 3 incidents within the last decade where there was a serious manufacturer defect, which resulted in black mold forming in the attics of our clients whose roofs we had replaced.
It was clearly not our fault, but two of those properties were homes with children, and the third was an office building with over sixty employees. After being stonewalled by the manufacturer and then just lawyering up, we had to do something.
We couldn’t just sit on our hands or point fingers, because people’s health was on the line, along with our reputation.
Time was of the essence, so instead of hiding behind some legal loopholes, we saw it as an opportunity to showcase our dedication to our clients.
Despite the challenges and a price tag of over $30,000, we stood by our work and made our clients’ properties as good as new. We took it personally then, and we take it personally now. At 1Call Restore, we don’t make excuses; we keep promises.
Compassion For Our Clients And Beyond
Our compassion extends beyond words – it’s embedded in our actions. Over 80% of our employees, including our in-house installers, passionately volunteer six days each year.
They rally behind our local charity program, which supports at-risk children across Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Passaic, and other parts of Northern and Central New Jersey.
Our collective heart beats to uplift our local North Jersey community and drive change where it’s needed most.

Led by a beacon of faith, our integrity shines brightly in our endeavors. We’re guided by the profound ethos to “live your life as a monument to your soul.” We once encountered a situation where a woman sharing a duplex home lost her job.
With the other half of the roof already being replaced by one of our paying clients, our heart compelled us to restore her side of the roof at no charge, ensuring both had shelter without burden.
After we finished, another neighbor came from across the street and said, “You’re like Mother Teresa with a toolbelt.”
Even though we didn’t have to do this, we felt compelled to because to us, integrity is answering to a need when the opportunity presents itself. No complaints. No patting ourselves on the back.

Established in 1990 and having served on the board of the BBB (Better Business Bureau) in New Jersey, our credibility is second to none.
A cherished sentiment from one of our team members’ children encapsulates this: “If something bad happens, my dad and his company are the ones you want to call to fix it.”
Another example of going the extra mile and serving the needs of others would be when we purchased and distributed 50,000 reusable face masks during the outbreak of the COVID pandemic. Half the people thought we were working for the Red Cross (LOL). But we were just doing what seemed right at the time.
